City Club La Paz is a membership warehouse club on Boulevard Forjadores, in Plaza Forjadores, close to Soriana Híper Forjadores. City Club is Soriana's warehouse-club chain, so it is La Paz's other bulk-buying option besides Sam's Club on Avenida Agustín Olachea, and the more convenient one if you live in the south or center of the city.
The club sells groceries and household goods in bulk: pantry staples, produce, bakery, refrigerated and frozen food, cleaning supplies, beauty and pharmacy items, plus electronics, appliances, furniture, clothing, toys and sporting goods. It also has a tire center and a Food Station counter for prepared food and drinks.
You need a City Club membership to shop. Memberships are sold at the club and on cityclub.com.mx, where members can also order online for pickup at the club or for home delivery, depending on the postal code. Delivery apps such as Rappi, Uber Eats and DiDi Food also deliver from City Club, though what each app carries can change.
The club takes all major credit and debit cards, including American Express. City Club also has its own credit card, the Tarjeta Falabella, which City Club advertises with 5% off general merchandise (Mercancías Generales); see cityclub.com.mx/falabella.html for the current terms.
There's no Costco in La Paz, so City Club and Sam's Club are the city's two warehouse clubs.
