La Paz's main fashion mall — Liverpool, MacStore, Cinépolis and national chains on Boulevard Agustín Olachea

Note: Formerly The Shoppes La Paz. Grupo Liverpool took control of the mall from January 1, 2018 and it now carries the Galerías name; some maps, signs and the cinema still use "The Shoppes".

Galerías La Paz is the city's main enclosed shopping mall, on Boulevard General Agustín Olachea in El Zacatal, between Boulevard Pino Pallas and the Libramiento Sur. Locals still often call it "The Shoppes", its name until Grupo Liverpool took control of the property at the start of 2018 and brought it into its Galerías mall chain.

The anchor is the Liverpool department store, with clothing, cosmetics, home goods and appliances under one roof. Alongside it are Suburbia, a Cinépolis multiplex, a Smart Fit gym, MacStore (an Apple Premium Partner), Petco, fashion brands such as American Eagle, LOB and Bobois, sportswear and shoe stores, opticians, restaurants and coffee: the main stop for anything a supermarket doesn't carry.

The mall also has a payment office of the state Secretaría de Finanzas, handy for paying state fees while you shop.

It is a short drive from the Walmart and Sam's Club on the same boulevard, so a single trip to the south side of the city can cover both groceries and shopping. Expect national chain prices in pesos; card payment is standard throughout the mall.
