FANLAP

Fundación Ayuda Niños La Paz, A.C.

FANLAP has been providing food and education support for children and adolescents from impoverished areas of La Paz since 1996. Daily meals, scholarships, a library, English classes, and psychological support — with US tax-deductible giving and active expat volunteer involvement.

Programs

Daily Meals

Breakfast and afternoon snack provided daily to enrolled children.

Scholarship Program

Scholarships for junior high and high school students — $250–$600 USD per student per year.

Library & Learning Center

Computers, study materials, and homework support.

English Classes

English language instruction — historically Saturday mornings, with expat volunteer teachers.

Psychological Support

Counseling and support for children and families.

Community Garden

Partnership with Raíz de Fondo for children's nutrition and agricultural education.

Volunteer Opportunities

FANLAP actively welcomes English-speaking expat volunteers. The organization has worked with La Paz's cruising and expat community for decades.
