Hope 4 La Pawz
Amigos de 4 Patas in Mexico
Hope 4 La Pawz works to end the suffering of stray and abandoned dogs in La Paz. It isn't a traditional shelter: local rescuers foster dogs in their homes, and Hope 4 La Pawz covers food, veterinary care and supplies until each dog is adopted in Mexico, the US or Canada. Its Clínica 4 Patas brings free sterilization and vaccines to La Paz neighborhoods, and its Amigos de 4 Patas store in Esterito helps fund the work.
Programs
Clínica 4 Patas: Bienestar
Free spay and neuter, vaccines (parvo, distemper, panleukopenia), flea and tick prevention, care leaflets, and low-cost collars and tags for La Paz pets. Announced April 2025.
Rescue and fostering
Local rescuers take in street and abandoned dogs and foster them at home; Hope 4 La Pawz supplies food, vet care and support until adoption.
