Bark for Baja
Bark for Baja is a community group in La Ventana, the kitesurfing village southeast of La Paz, that finds homes for local dogs. “Let’s take care of our community” is how it describes itself. It has been rehoming La Ventana dogs since at least 2016, when visiting kiteboarders wrote about adopting one, and its Facebook page has about 5,400 followers.

Where It Is
Bark for Baja is on Calle Rubén León in La Ventana (no street number), near Playa La Ventana. La Ventana is about 47 km from La Paz by road, roughly 45 minutes (SICT gives 50 km and 45 minutes to El Sargento, 3 km further up the same road).
