Presidencia Municipal de La Paz (Mayor's Office)

Presidencia Municipal — H. XVIII Ayuntamiento de La Paz, Baja California Sur

La Paz city hall — the mayor's office and municipal services: property tax, licences, permits and certificates

The Presidencia Municipal is the office of La Paz's municipal president (mayor), who heads the Ayuntamiento de La Paz, the municipal government. The current municipal president is Milena Paola Quiroga Romero, whose term runs to 2027. The city hall complex is on Boulevard Luis Donaldo Colosio, in Colonia Donceles 28.

The municipality handles the local paperwork most residents eventually need: the annual property tax (predial), traffic fines, construction and business operating licences, land-use authorizations, alcohol permits, and certificates such as a constancia de residencia (proof of residence). The municipal website, lapaz.gob.mx, lists these services and how to start each one.

Office hours aren't published on the municipal website, so call the switchboard before you go.
