Mei Mei

Thai and Chinese dishes for dinner on Madero, downtown

Note: Also written Mei-Mei. Not to be confused with Mei Hua, the Chinese restaurant on Félix Ortega.

Mei Mei is a small Asian restaurant on Calle Francisco I. Madero in downtown La Paz, between 5 de Mayo and Constitución, next to Made Pizza Bar. The local news site POSTA BCS describes its cooking as Thai and Chinese, naming the orange chicken with coconut rice and the pork wontons.

It is a dinner place, open from 5 to 11 PM every day except Monday. POSTA BCS notes that it fills up fast, so it is worth booking: reservations are taken on Tock. Diners on Google report spending about $300–400 pesos per person.
