Mexico's first Gary Player Signature golf course — set above the Sea of Cortez

El Cortes Golf Club — known until recently as CostaBaja Golf Club — is La Paz's resort golf course, set within the Costa Baja Resort & Marina complex on the Pichilingue Peninsula. Designed by Gary Player, it holds the distinction of being Mexico's first Gary Player Signature course — a fact that placed La Paz on the golf map long before most visitors realized the city had fairways at all.
The course plays 6,918 yards from the championship tees across 18 holes, par 71, with dramatic elevation changes that are unlike anything you'll find at sea-level resort layouts in Cabo. Tee boxes perched nearly 200 feet above fairways, panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez, and a layout that rewards strategic shot selection over raw distance.
