Large inner-bay marina with 250 slips — practical, well-equipped, and closer to the city than CostaBaja
Marina Palmira is one of La Paz's larger marinas, located at Km 2.5 on the Carretera a Pichilingue in the Lomas de Palmira neighborhood — closer to downtown than CostaBaja but with similar slip capacity at approximately 250 berths. Vessels from 30 to 220 feet are accommodated.
The marina offers the core services that long-distance cruisers and liveaboards require: fuel dock, pump-out, 30A and 50A shore power, water, security, chandlery or ship store access, laundry, and showers. Basic repair services are available, though for major yard work and haul-out, CostaBaja is the recommended option.
Marina Palmira operates in the same inner-bay cluster as Marina del Palmar — the two are in close proximity and some current directories treat the Km 2–3 area as a single cluster. Confirm directly which facility has current slip availability for your vessel size before arrival.
