Marina Cortez occupies prime real estate on the central La Paz waterfront at Paseo Álvaro Obregón — the marina's main access road runs along the Malecón, making it the most urban and city-center marina in La Paz. With approximately 50 slips for vessels up to 130 feet, it is smaller than CostaBaja or Palmira, but its location is unmatched for sailors who want to be in the middle of the city.
Services include a fuel dock, pump-out, Wi-Fi, electricity and water hookups, showers, restrooms, security, and a small ship store. The central location means restaurants, provisioning, banking, and city services are all within walking distance.
Marina Cortez also serves an important practical role as the departure point for the complimentary golfer ferry to Paraíso del Mar Golf Club on El Mogote Peninsula — the ferry departs from here every 30 minutes from 7:00 AM for golfers with tee time reservations.
